Trump Derangement Syndrome
This is all playing out like Julius Caesar.
In a two party system all that democracy needs to die is the disrespect of one of the two parties.
Trump has been an icon of bad taste for decades, but he hasn't disrespected any democratic institutions.
Many of Trump's voters have heard Alex Jones call Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton all kinds of detestable things with considerable pleasure, but a mad man going overboard in his attacks against real grievances isn't blocking rational discussion. It is different though when in response to this a whole milieu resorts to tit for tat by deriding Trump in like manner to assert its own political savvy.
There is no political gain in trying to work the courts against the presidency. Jeers and malice until saner minds rein in the partisanship only prove one unreliable and thus open the public's mind for doing away with elections, for it is pure meritocracy when higher courts strike down the irresponsible decisions of lower courts and by growing accustomed to it you are growing accustomed to dictatorship.
It is when men entrusted with ruling prove themselves unfit that their title is revoked.
It is still some time, but military rule is coming. It must, it is the only form of government that allows the reform of the foundations, all other lack the necessary social control, but it will be short lived, for the reforms are owed to the past and not providing for the future.
If there are no men of understanding on the inside, this is the most extraordinary string of coincidences. Now that the fall of the republic has been prepared, we enter, at least intellectually, the time in which the rise of the thousand year reign of the saints must be prepared.
