Rain in the desert

I think the Christchurch shooting is consequential only as a symptom, namely in so far as it demonstrates that tertium non datur is the more potent a motivator the more restricted your idea of what's possible is, the same sentiment I had reading Theodore John Kaczynski: If a man cannot trust in God, he must trust somebody else to create a path through history.

With castles in the sky on the one hand and ever leaner curricula on the other, it is only natural that models of the world are getting simpler and with that possible states of the world ever fewer, and hence tertium non datur ever wider applied: It is difficult to defend a culture, which does not grow as a service to its own well being.

In that lies something that has been decided, a path that is ours, methinks it's an assurance of divine intervention, for that is the way for a captain of the sea of our existence again to set the course.
