The Hunter Biden Ukraine Burisma issue is a dog-whistle for Pavlovian dogs...

...meant to rally them behind Joe Biden in the face of growing support for Elizabeth Warren. And the only thing Warren can do is to renewedly call for impeachment. It is incredibly sick. But there you are.

Trump doesn't want to campaign against Warren. That's why he's in such a good mood. Bill Maher may think that Warren has no chance of winning, and perhaps she hasn't, but she still has the best chance.

More importantly, this proves that the Pavlovian response is thoroughly established. It's Larry Silverstein time again, you have And they made that decision to pull it. on camera and everybody is supposed to say their piece. The only difference is, this time it's not restricted to a particular group, whose testimony counts in court and who has its own financial interest to consider. This time half the American public is very much part of it, if only by acquiescence.

What on earth are democratic voters supposed to think? First, that they owe it to Hillary, because she was slighted, and now to Biden, for the same reason? Because standing by the slighted is the highest ideal and it doesn't matter whether there is any basis for it, those who would even consider to look at that being traitors, not considering what that means in terms of machinations for the destiny of one's party?

This is on its way to end badly. On February 3, 2020, though this may have become an unpleasant dream of the past.

I know of course that the Trump campaign tried to appeal to Sanders voters last time, but the situation this time is more like it was when Obama unexpectedly beat Hillary. I'm stating this openly, though I think that Trump will be re-elected and democrats will go to a dark place after the 2020 election, because I prefer to call out the darkness when I see it, there are no higher considerations that could guide me in deciding which blots to draw attention to and which not to. This one is bad and I rather say it.
