The inessential society

The change mentioned in the previous post that is brought about by the death of man's essentiality deserves a thorougher description.

The observable phenomena are

• death of refinement due to the erosion of the very idea of what refinement is about,
• death of team spirit due to the fading relevance of teams,
• transition of assistance to seduction due to the fading importance of duties and
• growing primordial extremism.
  

Man's primordial nature is threefold in accordance with his soul and so is the extremism, that is we see

• a holy extremism focussed on the principles underpinning grace,
• a career extremism focussed on the experiences along one's path and
• a clan extremism focussed on the power of office.
  

The seduction takes hold of the people with lower self-esteem, who in turn become politically immature, whereas the people with higher self-esteem are driven to extremism according to their primordial nature, that is its dominant aspect. The career extremism is allied with the Leviathan and the clan extremism with the Behemoth. Although the latter may appear questionable at this precise moment in time, it is not and the uncertainty owed to a grotesque distortion. Of course, we're not dealing with actual clans, but larger groups of mutual and exclusive trust.
