Believing

The basic bond that consciousness establishes lies in the affirmation of the law that governs our world. Whatever we find just will govern us. Conscience is only its warning voice, its action reaches much farther.

Our self is searching for laws to cling to and the notion of the holy accompanies the laws that fulfil its desire. The true religion then is the one that shows us the way to the holy.

Whoever was beheaded for the notion of the holy has borne witness to it. And no one can believe, who doesn't have the nerve to proclaim that things are only what they are as long as God agrees with their virtue.
