The Nicholas calling the Candace black
i.e. dumb
Holy simplicity in action.
I'd find many pleasures with this. It is perhaps better to abandon it, for it is false.
In fact, no Christian ever became one, because he witnessed Christ rejecters. The idea was as absurd in 426 as it is today.
It's about credit. A king could easily coerce a banker who is his subject to finance his enterprises. So, if we want central control over royal enterprises, we must erect a separating layer between the lender and the debtor protecting the former from the latter. And what better way to achieve this than setting up a diaspora, which can easily move out of a place, but will find it very difficult to stay in one, if the Church turns the heat up.
Where there was no separation of church and state, for instance here in Estonia, with half the country being ruled by bishops and the other by an order of the Catholic Church, there were also no Jews. Do you have to be a rocket scientist then to understand that the traditional role of the Jews is to help the Church control the states?
After the French Revolution a process called emancipation started, which led to the assimilation of many Jews, for instance Karl Marx' father, who converted to Christianity, which would allow Karl later to marry the sister of the Prussian interior minister Ferdinand von Westphalen, Jenny. However, since the Good Catholic from Austria had turned up the heat once again, Jews have again been seen moving towards a more special role.
Catholic America First nationalist. There is no such thing. Go ask Andrew Napolitano what the game plan is. (Something like: But you want those drugs! These poor souls only want to please you! We have a well established system to deal with this problem. And just don't ask to what it has led. Clearly, any government is better than this one, cf. John Adams.)
Well, I know full well that it's not a winning tactic to ignore cognitive dissonance, but since my blog has only a handful of readers, I don't have to fall on my knees before this one-trick pony: I see what I see and that someone else thinks that it just can't be true means very little to me.

These Jews then, they are Christ rejecters? Yes, my son. And our society, it falls short of Christ's teaching, because the Christ rejecters have a lot of influence?Well, so far, so good. Now comes the kicker though.
Why does the Pope insist that our King lets them into our country? I have heard that he has given Sigismund II Augustus a priviledge de non tolerandis Judaeis for Bydgoszcz so that they don't have to suffer them there, but why must we?St. Augustine informs us in De Civitate Dei (426 A.D.) that in accordance with divine wisdom the Jews have been spread all over Europe giving credence to Christianity. He doesn't elaborate though.
