Control through resonance
Pharisees can be defined as those who concern themselves with the effects of resonance on society.
A quick look at theoretical Kabbalah confirms this: People sin and the shekhina isn't any longer where it should be, people repent and it moves back, the shekhina being whatever compels Jews, i.e. resonance for the intents and purposes of pharisees.
There are only two possible pharisaical strategies:
The philosophical strategy for both Jews and Christians is of course to simply communicate the insights that underlie their beliefs and hence conducts and propagated resonances.
But not everyone who uses resonance to control society is concerned with its effects, that is to say, other than those essential for the control. In other words, not everyone is concerned with the well-being of the soul and evaluates resonances accordingly. Such a purely control minded usage of resonance is the regal strategy and every time you hear the phrase controlling the narrative you are dealing with it, for it is never used when a report has to be improved in terms of the values that it instills. And I find it honestly a little strange that such control can openly advertise itself as what it is without fear of condemnation.
It's o.k. to manipulate as ordered as long as you're being professional? Many in the audience are looking at it as a competitive sport, applauding the most daring design, but I for one certainly won't knowingly drink from the gutter.
