“Normal tinnitus”
As a studied mathematician I restrict myself to writing about my insights when it comes to observations and not about observations for curiosity's sake, and because of this I've skipped the topic at hand so far, although I've always held that it holds some significance.
Now, for a sound to have any significance, it must vary depending on certain parameters and I would describe the sound in question as the sound of a tiny circular saw cutting through metal, not too unlike a dental drill either, or, with some poetic license, as the soft, high pitched roar of an angelic waterfall, to mimic Elizabeth Clare Prophet's description of it.
That is, the sound is constantly fluctuating, relaxes and stresses, and hence, like with a boiling pot of water, one can associate a vigour with it.
Actually, the stress can intensify to a piercing pain, and I do know, why that happens, namely because of undue purposefulness, that is letting oneself be guided by a tried and tested formula where one should listen to the holy, a tendency that accompanies the frailty of age, when many start living in a shell of themselves made of familiar topoi.
Thus, the sound is a mirror of our devotion to the holy. And independently of this recent insight I've always known that I was fishing for compulsions when I was hearkening to this sound and that its vigour heralds the emergence of a compulsion, and although that hope is often frustrated, more often than not, there's always an objective impasse feeding the vigour. In other words, the vigour is a function of possessedness building towards ideational transcendent acts (prayers) that are part of delivering (ausliefern) oneself into the hands of the possessor.
We are responsible for following the commandments of our life, that is, the holy, and we do pray in the name of a thus induced compulsion for its unfolding in our impasse, that is, for our path, but it is usually not a personal impasse, but a societal one, caused by deficient understanding (Erfahrungsweise, literally way of experiencing) of man's role in the world, and hence we must pray in the name of the meaningfulness of a conceived better understanding for its grace, allowing everybody to continue with the unfolding of the holy, but the conception involved is rather difficult going through stages, of which I've passed the first two, namely
