To Ray McGovern

Dear Ray McGovern,

when you were telling Larry Johnson that he was assuming that US intelligence was less well informed than he, I exclaimed: Exactly!

As far as I'm concerned you don't have to explain anything: An analyst analyses facts and doesn't trade in rumours and rather than listening to Marco Rubio I'd assume that we're watching a play that isn't about Iran.

The beauty of having no connections at all is to be free to start from the likely outcome, to next deduce motivations and finally the powers at work.

The likely outcome now is that the Republicans lose the midterms, the US their military presence in the Persian gulf, that illegal immigrants in the US receive amnesty, that Trump's tariffs are revoked and looking a little further down the road that Asia becomes its own theatre, with Japan and South Korea joining the party later, and the Americas and Europe closer integrated while Africa's position remains as yet undetermined.

My guess is that Cory Booker will be the next US president, because he will make it easiest to mend relations with Europe while attacking toxic whiteness domestically.

So, the tariffs have been an attack on trade in the name of national security and a new international security structure more open to trade than nationalism is emerging. One may leave it at that: Trump's Jewish friends turned out to be globalists. One may also go one step further and state that the western block will be dominated by the Catholic Church and the eastern by China.

I don't feel a high when I'm writing this, but I enjoyed it when you affirmed my belief in analytical principledness.

A chip off the old block of reason

P.S. I guess I would like to light a fire under somebody's ass concerning this, simply because I categorically prefer understanding to guide actions, but at this point that would result in New York City being nuked and Trump exposing himself as the modern day Nero, and that I don't call for, though, since God is enforcing his judgment anyway and in particular on when it's time, I'd consider it his will, if such a consequence materialised.
