On the edge of the precipice

The moral of the Purim story in my opinion is twofold: It tells Jews to suck up to kings and convince them that they can be a better staff for them than their own administrations, which is a very appropriate message for a people with a banking monopoly living as a diaspora among other peoples, and it tells kings that they can protect their infallibility by relying on competing staffs and letting them fight it out amongst each other, which is what the Pope does and Trump doesn't.

Trump now faces Iran fighting back after Israel convinced him to go after it, for which Iran doesn't need his permission, but because Trump involved the United States themselves, the entire gulf region and not just Israel is being targeted and hence the interest of the entire world is concerned.

When the supreme court struck down Trump's tariffs, he said that he's allowed to destroy nations, but not to impose tariffs, and began to try to destroy nations, starting with Venezuela, the idea being to motivate companies not by tariffs, but by energy security to invest in the United States. It's not that I didn't pick up on that, it's just that I don't think that you can win a war by confrontation without preparation, when you couldn't even prepare it, because of the resistance you are facing.

On the other hand the entire green movement celebrates the rising energy costs as it looks like Donald Trump is saving the world from climate change. At some point Trump will declare petroleum a resource of national security concern and stop its export from the United States. So any silent globalist support for Trump now will turn into unmitigated disaster later or, to put it in military terms, Trump has left his cover and is now in plain sight, but if he isn't stopped, he'll be in a position to wreak havoc.

So, at this point a successful and easily observable Iranian nuclear test might very well be the best step to avoid that.
