Thunder and lightning ahead.
I've been reading Revelation 18:20
The full symmetric scenario is this: On every side God-fearing people who recognise that they're not only surrounded by people who have no such notion, but that the law of the land starts to show it, so that they agree with overthrowing it, though not with what will replace it, and when they succeed at overthrowing that there will however still be regions that favour unholy principles, thus participating in an attack on Israel in which they'll be defeated. This also assumes that Christ returns before Armageddon, which isn't exactly certain, but rather natural-looking in this scenario, for it is natural that even a lightning that is seen from east to west doesn't strike everywhere at once. [Don't read too much into this. I didn't say that 144000 descendants of Sephardic Jews won't serve in a specific function.]
I would however like to once more evoke a notion of what has occurred. I was making another time travel by first listening to Breakfast in America (the album, not the song), then watching James Bond: Moonraker, then James Bond: For Your Eyes Only and then listening to Famous Last Words, which I still am. I already pointed out before that you can already sense in Moonraker the direction in which the next decade would turn and that For Your Eyes Only proves it by putting the English military at the center of the plot. You can of course also already sense it by listening to the lyrics of the Logical Song or Child of Vision. But what I've only noticed today is the care with which For Your Eyes Only seeks to guide its audience into a new decade, the comfort that it seeks to give by assuring that, while the world is becoming more sensible, logical, responsible, practical, dependable, clinical, intellectual, cynical, private life stays the same.
It reminded me of the care with which the English youth was led in the sixties into a new, in particular musical, era, so that Britain wouldn't become a relic. And while in 1981 authority had a greater weight than it has today, that it was more acceptable then to demand that someone do what need be done, it would certainly not have been demanded without giving the reason. The mere idea would have been an affront to order people around in order to please important liaisons. The people haven't changed, they never do, or rather very slowly without wanting to inquire just how slowly, it's just that the social engineers clearly lost their minds. While it's true that the same accusation was made in the sixties, and not without reason, the disagreement then was about how to best cope with the defeat at the hands of France (aggressively or defensively), but today there is neither a working concept of the human condition nor one of the role of the social engineer. I do see residues in the form of slogans, but the mind to implement them is gone. It's patently obvious that there's no care for the life in one's hands anymore, just probing and prodding, i.e. trial and error.
On the skinhead level, the current recourse to authority works, because on that level it's about affirming the social structure the skinhead is part of (someone to cow to, someone to beat up), but his ideological superiors understand that their interest isn't served. So we have this alliance between those who find themselves surrounded by vacated souls and those with the narrowest self interest. I've spent the last few years awakening the former to our overall situation. But now it's their heart speaking. There's no more need to argue, because there is no need to convince. There'll be a 100000 now, who pray as I do. The future is finally a film in which we actively participate, although the exact script remains veiled. I could see it as a triumph, but I see everything just as another slice of time unfolding, the resolution of our plight is too important to be distracted from.
Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye saints and apostles and prophets; for God hath approved of your judgment of her. [That's indeed what it says.]always with the hint of a sardonic smile, wondering how many saints, apostles and prophets share that judgment of New York with me. The underlying uneasiness is of course caused by the convergence of unholy and holy interest on this point. But because of it, I was neglecting the open statement that at the time of the eighth king New York will be seen as evil by true Christians. And consequently I gave true Christians more time to come around to the idea that it's time to care again, namely until the devil spirits would be set free, that is until the run-up to Armageddon. I already partially discussed the inherent asymmetry in that scenario: On one side Christ and 144000 descendants of Sephardic Jews, and on the other onlookers, who'd simply have to resist temptation, because they live in countries that decide nothing.
